Interpretation of results for gliadin IgA and IgG antibodies with age dependent reference limits as guidelines Sensitivity and specificity of IgA and IgG antigliadin ELISA - (> 2 years of age)
Sensitivity and specificity of IgA and IgG antigliadin ELISA (> 2 years of age)

Labmaster ELISA kits for IgA and IgG antibodies give quantitative results. Results are expressed as arbitrary units (AU) as percentage of the positive reference.

Reference limits have been established for two age groups separately. The borderline between the age groups is at two years of age. By comparing the results for a patient sample with cut off limits for the proper age group, the diagnostic specificity and sensitivity is optimized. The results can be used as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of coeliac disease.

New enzyme label: Inorganic pyrophosphatase

Colour reaction principle
